At Salon DaVinci, we invite you to experience beauty in a whole new way. We believe every detail of your visit should show respect and appreciation for nature and it's preservation. That's why we've gone to great lengths to find products that align with our values, using biodynamic principals of farming for cultivation and production, and eco-friendly methods and packaging.  Our No-Waste mission, we recycle almost 95% of all our salon waste through our refill bar and recycling program, turning it into usable materials. As a business founded by someone who grew up in an off-grid homestead in Kachemak Bay, we're committed to protecting the environment and making a positive impact on our planet.

Jen Bersch

Owner~Stylist~Colorist

Jen Bersch, owner of Salon DaVinci since 2007, is an accomplished hairstylist with an extensive portfolio that includes training with industry legends such as Vivienne McKinder, Sam Villa, Kevin Murphy, and attending Vidal Sassoon Academy. For four years, she served as an Artistic Educator with industry leader Matrix, where her passion for providing a chemical-free, earth-friendly salon experience first took root.

Now a well-established professional in her own right, Jen is committed to educating her clients on healthy choices in everyday beauty products and advocating for national legislation for safe cosmetics and environmentally-conscious practices in the beauty industry.

Jen's connection to her community runs deep, having been born and raised in Alaska as part of a fourth-generation homestead family. Her community involvement and interests are diverse, from community theater to car racing. Jen has also lent her talents to the Anchorage Opera, the Performing Arts Center, and locally produced films and TV shows.

As a pioneer in environmentally healthful practices in the beauty industry in Alaska, Jen is leading the way in providing exceptional hair care services that prioritize sustainability, holistic health, and community involvement. Her commitment to creating a salon experience that is both relaxing and rejuvenating, while also being kind to the planet, sets our salon apart as a true industry leader.
